Streetlights change with every sip of coffee I drink
Another pot of stories
And here's me in the big city
Tossing lines at the prom queen again
Where time never changes
Only the skyline
I knew that it would come out
She has the prettiest eyes and long fingers
Offbeatly beautiful
I got a postcard today from the girl with cutest dimples
Postmarked from Bismarck
It said, Dear Dave, I feel like cowboy
Montana is nice, wish you were here
Where time never changes
Only my hairline
Kodak memories to last a lifetime
I feel like McQueen, feel like Brando
Offbeatly beautiful
She rescued me from a life unlived
She rescued me from me
Like a film reel that’s unspooling
Bound for eventual obsolescence
Coming back to punk rock after spending a lot of time away listening to other things made this extremely hard hitting and fresh. McCaughan's poetic lyricsm in Sundowner shines through in this release. Somehow Metropole didn't hit me like most, but I can see how "You Are Here" was a precursor to one of my favorite records to come. Shaughn Martel
Pitch-perfect math rock from Kaneohe, Hawaii charges forward on raw, ragged emotion. A treat for fans of Polvo and Pardoner. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 27, 2018
Taking cues from Midwestern emo and early ’10 pop punk, this Leeds, UK outfit are full of heart— not to mention hooks. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 21, 2022
This might be the best melodic punk album from top to bottom... ever.
Recently discovered The Bombpops. They are a revelation.
There is not a bad track on this album. There is not even an average track. Every song rocks. I normally have two to four songs from most albums that make it to the list of "great songs that I could listen to endlessly". I can put every song on this album on that list. zenmasterj
